Community policing is nothing new to Fort Dodge/Webster County. By being visible in the community, not only is our law enforcement team deterring criminal activity, but they are developing positive relationships with both the adults and children of Webster County alike. They are committed to being strong leaders and positive role models. We have seen the community policing model in practice in many different ways!
~ School Resource Officers develop relationships with youth.
~ Officers, deputies, and their leadership attend community events such as the annual Autism Awareness Walk
~ Law enforcement hosts events such as National Night Out and Santa Cops
~ Law enforcement seeks out ways to engage with the community during their patrols.
~ Law Enforcement actively works with partner agencies such as ourselves to educate the public and create a safe environment in Fort Dodge and Webster County.
